[ ]- - THE PARK
the park, as is it simply called, is on the east side of town. it isn't much, but it's pretty big with a sandy walking path and a big sprawling mass of fresh green grass. trees dot the landscape, shrouding the little gazebo that many people in town often get married in.

[ ]- - RIGBY'S
even though rigby's is the only restaurant town, it is one of the best in central illinois. serving everything from shakes to burgers, coupled with the small town, friendly atmosphere, rigby's is one of the most popular places in town.

[ ]- - CASEY'S
casey's general store! what would roosevelt do without this little gas station? casey's sells everything from tampons to ice cream, and also serves gas. i'm telling you, roosevelt would DIE without it.

[ ]- - ROOSEVELT PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL
a tiny brick school in the middle of town is the source for all the action...since the only exciting things that happen in town are focused around the school; like football and homecoming. there are no more than two hundred students enrolled here. sad, huh?

[ ]- - THE LOCKER PLANT
the locker plant is the only bar and grill in the county that accepts minors. not that the bartenders would sell alcohol to anyone underage or anything...by day, it serves as a pool hall with a few arcade games mixed in there, by night, it's a bar with some really epic karaoke contests.

[ ]- - THE COMMUNITY BUILDING
the community building is where all parties in town are held. be it a wedding reception or a birthday party, you'll find it here.

[ ]- - THE EAST SIDE (2 sub-boards)
the east side of town is the oldest part, filled with big two story houses with huge wrap around porches. pleasing to the eye and filled with a historical air, these houses are for the upper middle class.

Moderator: admin.
00
[ ]- - THE WEST SIDE
the west side of town is home to the newer houses in town. most of them are ranch styled, small, and rather cozy. they are pretty nice, though, so don't be fooled by their limited space.

[ ]- - WOODCREST APARTMENTS (1 sub-board)
located in the middle of town are the woodcrest apartments, a small building, family owned and operated since 1879. they're small, but really nice and clean on the inside. oh, and the rent is cheap, so that's a plus.

Moderator: admin.

[ ]- - THE NORTH SIDE
these houses are located on the very outskirts of town, some of them built right on top of cornfields. they tend to be smaller, a little run down. they're extremely cheap, though.

[ ]- - THE LAKE
about ten miles out of town is the famous lake. countless parties and illegal underage drinking events have happened here over the years. the lake itself is gorgeous, clear water, big fish, spectacular scenery. a great place to go in the summer.

[ ]- - THE TRAILS
forest trails as far as the eye can see! you can always hear the rumble of fourwheelers on these dirt paths. these are also good paths to take a walk on or ride your bike.

[ ]- - THE "HAUNTED" CABIN
the "haunted" cabin isn't really haunted. or so they WANT you to think. the fact of the matter is that most people in roosevelt believe it's actually possessed by the spirit of a woman who's kids drowned in the river nearby. she is said to haunt the cabin AND the river, so watch out!

[ ]- - THE TREE
i bet you're wondering what's so significant about one tree...well, it is located about five miles out of town on a small hill with a tire swing attached to it. no one knows how it got there, but no one really cares. many children have been made under this tree, since this is the place where many lust teenagers (and adults) go with their significant others.
